PRIMER FOR METAL

What

COLOR PRIMER FOR METAL is a primer for protection of iron and steel surfaces, indoors and outdoors. COLOR PRIMER FOR METAL is applied to the surface before application of COLOR ENAMEL.

Why

Metals are among the most long-lived and versatile elements. They are also sensitive to influences of environment, especially if humidity is present. By using the COLOR PRIMER FOR METAL, we ensure that the metal surfaces become as smooth as possible and thus protected against corrosion.

How

COLOR PRIMER FOR METAL is applied to iron or steel surfaces prior to use of COLOR ENAMEL. Before the application of COLOR PRIMER FOR METAL the surface should be clean, without rust, dry and degreased.
Dilute the product with COLOR EMAIL THINNER to a maximum of 10%. It is applied with a brush, roller or spraying in one or two coats. After 24 hours the primer is dry enough for sanding and recoating.
